Living on the Wild Side

I’ve never met an animal print I didn’t like. In fact, if it was socially acceptable to classify leopard as a color, it would be #1 when I named off my favorite colors. I am one of those crazy people who swear that leopard is a neutral. Read more…

Faux Fireplace

I’m almost half way through my first winter in Chicago, and I have to admit, I’m not hating it. In a weird way I kind of missed winter. Growing up in New England, winter’s are so nostalgic to me. I can remember having snow days and baking cookies and everyone standing around the fireplace to get warm after shoveling the snow outside. Read more…

Rose Quartz & Serenity

I thought that today would be the perfect day to talk about Pantone and their color choice for 2016. Pantone is the world’s authority on color and every year they choose a color that will go on to inspire almost every creative industry there is for that year.  Read more…

Pretty Peacock

Very popular in the 70’s, peacock chairs are making a huge comeback. Is anyone else obsessing over all things 70’s lately? Flare jeans, fringe and suede are some of the hottest items to get your hands on at the moment and I’m not complaining! Read more…

Let’s talk paint. Chalkboard paint to be specific. I have been wanting to do a chalkboard wall for forever and I FINALLY pulled the trigger. I love the impact that a bold accent wall can make in general and I feel like chalkboard paint adds a really fun element to a room. Read more…
