Transitioning Into Fall

Bodysuit: Misguided – here | Skirt: H&M – here | Flats: Aerosoles – here

Hi friends : )

I hope you are having a great week so far! I have really been enjoying the weather in Boston these past few weeks because it has been unseasonably warm. I love when the weather is like this because you can start incorporating fall trends into your outfits but it is still warm enough out during the day to avoid coats and pants. Life is better without pants, right?!

I have been a serious outfit repeater lately because I can’t get over this look. The skirt is from H&M and instantly reminded me of Chanel. They have it in all black as well which is even more reminiscent of the old Chanel skirt suits but I opted to go for this fun pop of color. This whole outfit is full of incredible basics that are so versatile and even though this skirt is a little funky I have been wearing it non-stop. It’s classic enough that you can pair it with a black top and these loafers and wear it to work, you can even throw on black tights if your work dress code is on the more conservative side or if you want to be able to wear it through the winter. I can also picture this outfit with over the knee boots and a leather jacket and it would be such a cute date night look or fun for a night out.

I have had this bodysuit from Misguided for a little over a year now and it has become a staple in my wardrobe. I wear it with jeans, flats and a scarf for a cute daytime look. You can also pair it with over the knee boots and black jeans to go out at night. It is very affordable, good quality, and so soft. My favorite part is that the back is cut like a thong so that you don’t have panty lines when you wear it with a tight skirt or jeans. To all my girls that wear bodysuits, you know the struggle is real! I have tried SO many different brands of bodysuits over the years and Misguided for sure makes my favorite.

My loafers are Aerosole and I got them at DSW pretty recently. I have been searching for a pair of black flats that will last me through the next few seasons and these were literally calling out to me. I love that they are a bit trendy because loafers are so in this year but they are also simple and have a pretty timeless silhouette.

The best part is that you can get this entire look for under $100!! I was shocked when I did the math on this one. Especially because like I mentioned every one of these pieces is super versatile and you will get a ton of wear out of them. I had so much fun putting this look together and shooting it. I hope you like it too!

Lots of love,
